Congratulations to Wayne McMahon (8T2) on his appointment as Junior Captain for 2010. Many thanks, too, to the fine group of Year 8 students who presented themselves for consideration for this important leadership position. We wish Wayne every success in the role.
Congratulations, too, to our Year 7 Debaters who represented us in the ACC Junior Debating Tournament at St Bernard’s College with distinction on Tuesday this week coming equal second in their division.
Students return next week for their “Flying Start’ program, orientating them to their Year 12 studies next year and alerting them to the preparatory work they need to complete over the holidays.
Many Year 12 students have already completed their exams, with the remainder finishing next week prior to their Valedictory Dinner with their families on Thursday night. Again, we wish them well.
Presentation Night will be celebrated at the Crossway Centre, 2 Vision Drive, East Burwood (off Springvale Road, near Burwood Highway – Melways 62D8) next Tuesday night, 17 November, at 7.30pm. All students and families are welcome to attend and acknowledge our many Award recipients on their great achievements, in a wide variety of areas, throughout the year.
