Mission Statement
Whitefriars College reflects the tradition
of the Carmelites who actively seek to live in God’s presence by
walking in the way of Jesus Christ.
The College provides a Catholic education
for boys where excellence is valued and all are challenged to
achieve their best.
This education aims to empower young men to
live with integrity through prayer and through a sensitivity to
justice.
It assists them to take their place in
society as valued individuals, alive with the spirit of the
gospel.

College Tours
In 2010 Open
Mornings will be held on the first Monday of the month during
school term starting in February and ending in November.
Please be aware that due to the mid term
break on 1 November, the Open morning will be held on Monday 8
November.
Open mornings commence promptly at 9.00am and conclude
at approximately 10.30am.
The tour gives
parents and their children the chance to experience the College
while classes are in progress.

Twilight Expo will be held on 15 February 2011 6pm-8pm

and the Twilight Expo.
We welcome you to come along and meet with our teachers, staff
and students as you tour the College and see some of the
learning experiences
that our students are exposed to and the work produced.

dates for Year 7 2011 Enrolments
Friday 26 February 2010-
date by which all applications to colleges close.
Friday 12 March 2010 - date by which Principals
of neighbouring colleges have exchanged list of applicants.
Friday 23 April 2010 - date by which principals
of neighbouring colleges have exchanged list of students who are
to be offered a place at the College.
Monday 3 May 2010 - date on which offers of
places to prospective Year 7 students are to be posted.
Friday 21 May 2010 - final date of acceptance
by parents of offers made.
The date by which applications for Year 7 2012 enrolment must be
received is 25 February 2011. |
